Christmas Parcel Appeal 2026

The Quaker Christmas Parcels Appeal for 2026 has now been launched.

It is a pleasure to reach out in friendship to those who give generously to this collection year on year, and to those who may be donating for the first time.

Every year, Quaker Christmas Parcels provides food packages for families known by the Probation Service to be in great need, and also to asylum seekers and refugees through Quaker supported charities.

The price of food continues to rise, and we anticipate an overall 10% rise of costs this year. However, we are pleased to say that we are committed to packing the same number of parcels as in 2025.

A total of 840 Christmas Parcels will be packed and sent to vulnerable families, and we rely on your support to ensure that these parcels are filled with joyful treats as well as vital cupboard staples.

Any donation you feel able to make will be greatly valued; early donations (by 22/10/26, ordering date) are especially helpful.

You can make secure donation online, or for alternative ways to donate please see the appeal letter being distributed to Local Meetings, or contact Mina Tilt (treasurer to the Christmas Parcels Committee): minatilt.hgq@btinternet.com
