A mid-week Meeting for Worship for Young Adult Friends (aged 18-35) is held on the second Wednesday of each month at Selly Oak Quaker Meeting House, 930 Bristol Road, B29, 6NB.

We have a short Meeting for Worship, followed by a shared meal and conversation.

Open to people of all faiths and none, a Quaker Meeting invites you to take some time for quiet, stillness, and connection. It’s held by a community of people who care deeply about equality, peace, and climate justice.

New to Quakers?

If you’re 18-35 and curious about Quakers, you’ll be very welcome to join one of our Meetings for Worship on the second Wednesday of each month (or at any of the Quaker Meetings in our area).

People are drawn to Quaker community for many reasons. It might be because we have no dogma or creed, and welcome people of all faiths and none. It might be because we are an LGBTQ+ inclusive faith community. It might be because we have a strong emphasis on peace, justice, and climate action. Or you might just be seeking a bit of peace and quiet.

Young Friends in Britain

Young Friends in Britain (formerly YFGM) is the national community of young adult Quakers in Britain. They hold three weekend gatherings each year, in February, May and October for anyone aged 18 to 35.
