A Friend from the University of Leeds is inviting Quakers who are practising psychotherapists or counsellors to take part in a research study.
The study will explore the relationship between Quaker spirituality and therapeutic practice. Participation will involve a single in-depth interview exploring these topics, held in-person or online. You will also be required to complete a short demographic survey.
If you are UK-based, a self-identified Quaker, and currently working as a psychotherapist or counsellor (post-qualification), you are eligible to take part.
If you are interested and would like to find out more, please contact the lead researcher, James MacCallum, on hc23jm@leeds.ac.uk
You can also contact the academic supervisor, Gillian Proctor, on G.M.Proctor@leeds.ac.uk
The study has received ethical approval from the University of Leeds School of Healthcare Research Ethics Committee (Ref: SHREC 3867). Participation is entirely voluntary and participants are free to withdraw without consequence.
