The Together Alliance is a coalition of of hundreds of civil society organisations representing over 7 million people.
On Saturday 28 March, people will come together in Central London for a demonstration — to turn shared values into visible action. They are mobilising for love, hope and unity in the face of hate, fear and division, and raising voices against the rise of the far-right.
Friends might like to join the faith bloc. There are coaches going from many places in our area, and the march is also accessible by train and tube.
The main march will begin gathering from 12pm on Park Lane. It will depart at roughly 1pm making its way onto Piccadilly towards Green Park Tube Station before turning onto Regent St. and then onto Pall Mall. The march will continue along Pall Mall towards Trafalgar Square, and then turn onto Whitehall where it will finish. The event is due to finish by 6pm (although some coaches may arrange to depart earlier).
There will also be a short accessible march, and an online event for those who cannot attend in person.
If Friends would like to connect with others from our area who are attending, contact our Peace Hub coordinator.
