Solihull Quaker Meeting is small and friendly, with a diverse range of interests amongst its members. Silent Worship, mutual respect and active listening are at the core of our time together. Contributions to the life of our Meeting are welcome, but we are equally happy with those who feel more comfortable taking a back seat.

We find our social time after our Meeting important for those who desire it, gathering in a local cafe where we can enjoy each others’ company more informally.

Many of us are, or have been involved in activities promoting our Testimonies of Truth, Peace, Equality and Sustainability, but at the heart is our Spirituality, which can be found through various pathways, always resulting in deep love for all humanity and life around us.

Whilst we currently have no provision for a children’s meeting, enquiries are welcome.

Shirley Methodist Church is on Shirley’s high st (Stratford Rd), opposite Aldi. Bus nos 4A, 5, 6, 49 & 76 stop nearby. There is a large car park at the rear and easy access to the front of the church.

Shirley Methodist Church states that “all rooms are accessible by wheelchair and a disabled toilet is available.”
