Between eight and twelve Friends regularly attend worship on Sundays.

During Ramadan 2026 members of our Meeting were delighted to join with the Ahmadiyya community for the Big Iftar held at their own mosque in Tilton Road.

Our monthly Meeting for Healing and shared lunches continue with many Friends staying on after Meeting for Worship to share food together. We alternate our shared lunches with a picnic lunch when we have a discussion while eating our sandwiches. Topics covered include some taken from the new Kindlers booklet ‘Quaker Worship Reflections and Explorations’ and a consideration of the review of Advices and Queries.

We also held a very successful joint meeting with the local Ahmadiyya Community on the theme of ‘Love thy Neighbour’ during Quaker Week and in November we welcomed members of the Area Meeting Responding to Racism group when they gave a presentation on the research they have been undertaking. More recently we had a follow up session looking at the issues raised by the Responding to Racism report and the possible implications for reparations.

Other recent topics for picnic lunches have included Friends sharing something of their life story and a comparison between the teachings of Buddha and Jesus. We have been very pleased that Friends from Solihull Meeting have joined us for both shared and picnic lunches. Our ministry has been enhanced by our Seed Box of snippets from Quaker Faith and Practice. The regular occasions on which we have met to tend the Meeting House garden have also enhanced our fellowship.

We are very pleased that our premises are used regularly by local community groups and warmly welcome followers of a range of different religions – Sikh, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist to share our worship space in addition to our own Quaker Meeting for Worship. We look forward to building on our links with Solihull Friends and other local faith communities in the future.

The Meeting House is accessible downstairs for those with limited mobility, including an accessible toilet. There is also a hearing loop.

The entrance to the car park is in Hamlet Road. It is not possible to drive into Hamlet Road from Stratford Road – approach from Fox Hollies Road.

The Number 6 bus from the City Centre to Solihull stops outside the Meeting House. The Number 6 bus from Solihull to Birmingham City Centre stops opposite the Meeting House but the next stop is closer to the pedestrian crossing. The Number 11 Outer Circle bus stop is about 5 minutes walk, as is Hall Green Station.
