Quaker Truth & Integrity Award

Nominations for the Quaker Truth & Integrity Award 2026 are now open and will close on 30 April.

This will be the fourth such award. Last year, it was made to two outstanding recipients:

  • Phil Laurie for his activism grounded in Quaker faith and
  • Dr Peter Wilmshurst for his contribution to medical ethics.

The committee are hoping for similarly inspiring nominations this year. The Award is made to individuals and organisations that have made an outstanding contribution towards the promotion of truth and integrity in public life in Britain.

Nominations may be made either by individual Friends or by any Quaker Meeting or body.  Nominations may be sent to quakertruth@gmail.com and should include background details in support of the nomination.
