Linda Murgatroyd invites Friends interested in exploring ways of accompanying spiritual development, to find out more about a new national Quaker Spiritual Accompaniment Network.

There are two initial dates for your diary:

Thursday 29th January at 7pm: Ignatian Spiritual practices and the Experiment with Light; how these can be used in spiritual accompaniment? Brief introductions to both, all are welcome.

Tuesday 24th February at 7pm:  Next steps for the Quaker Spiritual Accompaniment Network.

Work has been going on behind the scenes to prepare a possible proposal for a Quaker Spiritual Accompaniment Network, clarify its aims, and develop a strategy to take this forward.  This meeting will be an opportunity for Friends to comment and to discern the way forward.  Should we proceed towards becoming a Quaker Recognised Body?  What needs to happen next, and do we have enough Friends willing to share the responsibility and work? Papers will be circulated well in advance.

Later in March : How Spiritual Accompaniment can support Quaker witness.
