Request for Volunteers: Heritage Open Days

This news item was published on 13/08/2025 and may be out of date.

Bournville Friends are opening the doors yet again for Heritage Day for the 12th year running, and are appealing for volunteers to help.  And apart from helping us, there’s an opportunity for volunteers to visit some of the other buildings opening their doors around Bournville.

The event is on Saturday 13 September and runs from 10.00 – 4.00.  The first hour is usually quiet and it’s all go after that!  As well as the usual displays of historical pictures of the building, and information about Quaker beliefs, this year we would like to open the side room with activities for children and their parents.  To do this we will need more volunteers than usual, so if you can offer some time we’d be very grateful.

Please let us know what you can offer, and email bournville@ceaqm.org.uk by the end of August if possible, indicating the times you can donate. Many thanks!
