Friends are invited to support this new initiative from our project Peace Hub. Any Friends who feel these sessions would be helpful are very welcome to join. For those already active, please share with the people your life who are concerned, but don’t know where to start getting involved. The sessions are open to all – Quakers and the wider public.
Are you worried about the state of the world, but don’t know where to start? Join a group of like-minded people who take simple steps together. Explore what matters to you, and get ideas & support to start making a difference.
On Tuesdays 8th Sept, 13th Oct & 10th Nov 6:30pm we’ll get together over a cuppa in the lovely atmosphere of the BRIG Cafe for relaxed, interactive workshops looking at:
- What matters to us?
- Ideas for making a difference.
- Supporting each other to keep going.
You don’t need lots of time, energy, knowledge or experience to join – we’ve all got something to bring and something to learn.

Why ‘Peace Babs’? ‘Bab’ is a friendly way to address someone across the West Midlands, which hopefully reflects the friendly vibe of these sessions. Join Peace Babs with Peace Hub!
Already active on peace & social justice? Why not share this event with the people in your life who are concerned, but don’t know where to start getting involved. Maybe someone who says ‘it’s great that you do all these actions, but I wouldn’t have the time to commit / feel nervous about joining / never hear about these things’. This is a simple, friendly way for people who feel like that to dip their toe into taking action!
