ecobirmingham was set up as a separate charity in 2018 (previously part of CEQ), to help provide dedicated support to help make communities across Birmingham, healthier, fairer and greener. With the support of CEQ and other funders, ecobirmingham has continue to grow it’s impact from its base in Northfield across the city.
Its latest annual impact report is now available – which includes reaching over 4 million people through media coverage, helping train over 5,000 individuals, create 512 extra years of healthy life expectancy, reduce 3,000 tonnes of CO2, and bring over £12 million of social, economic, and environmental benefits to Birmingham communities.
