Our project Peace Hub reopened on 8th September, with a new theme in partnership with Medaille Trust: Refuge & Freedom: How can we work together to combat modern slavery?

Although it’s a tough subject to talk about, modern slavery could be happening right now in our community. The aim of the theme is to help bring people together to spot the signs, support organisations like Medaille who are providing practical support, and offer small actions to advocate for the vicitms of modern slavery.

Pop into Peace Hub throughout the remainder of 2020 to:

• Find out about the reality of modern slavery in the UK today;
• Read personal stories of survivors;
• Get tips on spotting the signs, and what to do;
• Take small actions to help tackle this big problem.

You’re welcome to pop in between 11am and 5pm every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. A full set of covid-secure measures are in place. You can also join in via the Peace Hub website.
