George Fox Exhibition at Coventry

Find out more about how George Fox and the early Quakers created a social and spiritual revolution in 17th Century England that is still resonating around the globe.

The Chapel of Unity at Coventry Cathedral is hosting a display created by Coventry Quakers on George Fox in the 400 years since his birth in July 1624 in Fenny Drayton, near to Coventry. The Chapel of Unity is open to all and free to visit at the Cathedral, CV1 5AB.

The exhibition is available to view throughout July 2024. General visitor hours for the Cathedral (including the Chapel) are Mon – Sat 10:00am – 4:00pm and Sun 12:00pm –3:30pm. However, to avoid disappointment, it is recommended to check the full calendar for any closures or changes to visiting hours on specific dates on the Cathedral website before visiting.

There will also be an opportunity to view the exhibition at a talk on the life and work of George Fox hosted at Coventry meeting House on Saturday 7th September.
