Quaker founder George Fox, was born in the Leicestershire village of Fenny Drayton, near to Hartshill Local Meeting and part of our Area Meeting, in 1624. For Quakers around the world, the 400th anniversary of his birth next year will be an opportunity for outreach and for reflection on our history.
To help prepare for this, Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC, an international body helping Quakers in different parts of the world connect) has produced a pack featuring children’s stories, a dramatic monologue, Bible study and prompts for worship sharing, as well as links to possible songs, meditations, courses and games.
Read more and download the pack from the FWCC website.
