Climate Vigil continues

Kate White from Bournville Meeting offers a reminder that a regular silent vigil is held by Quakers every Wednesday 1.30 – 1.45pm outside St Phillips Cathedral, central Birmingham.

It’s called “Concern about the Climate Crisis” and anyone/everyone is invited to stand with us. You will find us against the east wall of the cathedral come rain or shine.  Some of us wear a Quaker badge.  Sometimes there are only 2 or 3 of us there, at other times 5 or 6.  We have banners to hold, and when there are more of us, we attract more interest, so that occasionally a member of the public will stand with us.  Sometimes a passer-by will talk with us afterwards about the Climate or want to know more about Quakerism.
