Peace Hub

Peace Hub is a branch of CEQ, encouraging action for peace and helping to build a community that cares.

There are plenty of ways to join that community, through workshops or actions, online or in-person. So whether you’re completely new to peace & justice, or an experienced peace-maker, we invite you to get involved. Speak to our coordinator Pete or email office@peacehub.org.uk with any questions or ideas.

Peace Hub is implementing a new strategy from 2025, and our priorities are:

  • Working with & supporting other groups committed to peace & social justice, through outreach, inreach & networking;
  • Organising peace events & activities that build on this partnership work;
  • Taking people on a journey from passive to active in this peace work.

Join events and activities

Our coordinator is working on a programme of events and activities beginning in spring 2025.  These will help people explore what peace and social justice means, and consider how you might be feeling led to take action.  We’ll share ideas for getting involved in different ways depending on your available time, energy and preferred style of action.

These events will be open to everyone, and we very much welcome Friends’ participation.  Sign up to hear more by email, WhatsApp or social media.

Join our focus group

A Focus Group will help develop the content for Peace Hub work and provide guidance on issues and groups for Peace Hub to work with.  The group will enliven and stimulate the work, and help align priority areas for Peace Hub with the energy and concerns of Friends.

The group is open to any Friends (members or attenders) within Central England who are concerned about peace and social justice issues. Group membership will be though active participation, and not be formally nominated – please speak to our coordinator if you are interested.

The nominated Peace Hub Management Committee remains responsible for finance, employment, line management and overall strategy for the Peace Hub.  Please speak to a member of nominations committee if you would like to put forward your own name, or suggest the name of a Friend for this committee.
