Junior Young Friends (JYF) is an event for young Quakers aged 13 to 18, which for August 2020 will take place online. Over the afternoon, the young people will have the opportunity to meet other Quakers of their own age (with supervision from responsible adults) to be together as a virtual community and to enjoy shared activities, including: 20 minutes worship together; Games & activities in break-out groups; Final whole-group sharing. This online JYF is free to attend, please register to receive details of how to join online (the registration process is much simpler than for residential JYF events). Deadline for registration is 12 noon on 30th July 2020. If you do not submit your registration form by this date, we cannot guarantee that you / your child will be able to attend. JYF is primarily for young people aged 13-17. If the participant is aged 17 or under, the registration form should be completed by a parent/guardian. Those aged 18 in their final year of school (yr 13) are also entitled to attend the event. We have also invited some former JYFers who are now over 18 to help facilitate (please also use this form to register). All participants are asked to consent to a community boundaries agreement, agreed by the young people who are planning JYF. Read the community boundaries.
