Bill describes his model for Spiritual Development as having 8 stages, …but that many Westerners get stuck in what Bill describes as the Adolescent phases – so that Bill sees his life’s work as training other soul guides to help people through Stage 4, which is ‘Late Adolescence’ in his terms ‘The Wanderer in the Cocoon – leaving home and exploring the mysteries’. Bill wants to engage us with ‘The Great Turning’ by encouraging personal eco-centric development. There are dynamics in Bill’s teachings that could be of interest to many Friends. Peter Fishpool was one of a group of 20 attending a four day course with Bill in Colorado USA in October. He will share that experience and from his reading of number 2 of Bill’s 3 massive books; “Nature and the Human Soul: Cultivating Wholeness in a Fragmented World”.
