Hall Green Friends will serve tea from 5.00pm but you are welcome to come earlier to look at the building with its stained glass windows that once served as the reading room for the nearby hamlet.
Getting to the meeting house:
The Meeting House is on the corner of Stratford Road and Hamlet Road opposite Hall Green School. To get there by car you need to approach from the junction of Hamlet Road and Fox Hollies Road as there is no entry off Stratford Road. There is a small car park but it is quite possible to park on Hamlet Road. Bus number 6 passes the door but the bus stops for number 11 and 76 buses are within walking distance. Hall Green station is further away; trains are hourly after 7.00 pm but more frequent earlier in the evening.
What is an ‘Area Meeting’?
Any Member can attend these meetings and take part in decision making: if you are an attender and would like to attend, please ask an Elder or Overseer at your local meeting. The meeting will be chaired by a Clerk, who will introduce items of business to be discussed, and allow questions to be asked. Members of the meeting sit silently in worship, reflecting on the matter in hand and try to Discern the way forward.
