Area Meeting Office

The Area Meeting Office is now open after 5 months closure because of the Covid 19 pandemic.

The necessary risk assessments have been completed and the Area Meeting Secretary is willing to return to the office.

There is a new photocopier and with September Area Meeting coming up soon this will provide an opportunity to try it out. Please remember to check out with David when committee clerks need papers copied and sent out.

The office hours will be as before 10.30 – 2.30. Please continue to use email and the phone to contact the office, if you need to call in please ensure you have a facemask and comply with current guidelines in place for social distancing in the Priory Rooms and the CEQ office.

CEQ Projects

The Priory Rooms are now open for bookings – they have have completed an assessment to ensure all Health and Safety measures are in place, and are Meetings Industry Secure accredited.

Peace Hub is reopening to the public from 8th September, with a new theme on combatting modern slavery in collaboration with the Medaille Trust. Safety measures are in place including face coverings, hand santiser and 2m distancing.

Peacemakers staff are back from furlough and are exploring how they can work with schools during this challenging time. During lockdown, Peacemakers helped to develop new resources called ‘Restore’ to help support primary and secondary pupils. They will be making limited use of the office, and are available to contact as normal.
