Video of George Fox Re-enactment

A re-enactment was held on 27th October, at Lichfield Market Square, of George Fox’s notorious visit to the town with his message of “woe to the bloody city”.

A video of the re-enactment is now available to watch, written & produced by Berry Dicker, directed by well-known Lichfield Director David Titley, and starring Barnaby Waters from Selly Oak Meeting as George Fox.

Read more about the drama and the events behind it on the Quakers in Britain website.

Fox is seen as a man who spoke truth to power and as one who laid the foundations for the world-wide Quaker movement, with its testimonies of peace, truth, simplicity and equality.
