March for Clean Water

Sarah Shaw, coordinator for Midlands Green Quakers (and Local Development Worker for East Midlands), highlights the March for Clean Water in central London on Sunday 3 November.

The march has been organised by River Action, with support from a number of organisations including the Wildlife Trusts, Swim England, the Thames River Trusts, and Extinction Rebellion, amongst others.

The march will take place from 11am to 3pm, starting at the Albert Embankment and ending at Parliament Square. Further information about the march can be found on their website. Sarah is aware that there are a number of Friends from the region who are planning to attend the march. Our Friend Peter Illing (Rugby LM) has kindly offered to connect with any Friends who may be going. If you’d like to coordinate with Peter during the rally, you can email him beforehand.
