As part of Coventry City of Culture 2021, the Royal Shakespeare Company staged 4 outdoor moving plays. Coventry Quaker Meeting House was chosen for one of the scenes, staged on our forecourt.
You can view the play below (look out for the meeting house at about 40 minutes). It features a young Sikh couple, newly arrived in the 1978 – they found Quakers organising a jumble sale in aid of CND. During the dialogue, some of our main Quaker standpoints were voiced.
