At Central England Area Meeting in July we were asked to get talking about diversity with three prompts.
The queries are:
- In what ways is your meeting (or committee or group) already diverse?
- In what ways could it be more diverse?
- What would help it become more diverse? What are the opportunities and barriers?
Area Meeting would like responses from local meetings in advance of the September Area Business Meeting so that we can give some feedback at the next Meeting for Sufferings.
The queries are follow-up to the closing session of Britain Yearly Meeting 2018.
Please do what you can to promote discussion in your local meeting to feed into September Area Meeting at Northfield.
As an individual, you can also contibute to a research project on diversity & inclusion within Quakerism, being run by an Eva Koch scholar.
