The 9th and 10th September saw Heritage Open Days across the UK, where volunteers gave members of the public the chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences for free.
Several Quaker Meeting Houses in Central England joined in: Bournville, Bull St and Stourbridge. There were large numbers of visitors across the three meetings, with many members of the public coming to view these historic buildings, learn about the part Quakers have played in shaping the West Midlands, and find out what we get up to today.
Many positive converstaions were held, and we look forward to taking part again in 2018. And if you missed out this year, there’s a chance to meet Quakers and visit our meeting houses this Quaker Week (30th September to 8th October.)
