Registration is now open.

CEQ Peace Committee invite you to this event to mark the 70th Anniversary of the UN Refugee Convention (also known as ‘the Geneva Convention of 1951’) and explore its relevance today.  We will ask whether the UK is still compliant with the letter and the spirit of the treaty, with speakers:

  • Oliver Robertson from Quaker Peace & Social Witness
  • Larry Bottinick from UNHCR (the UN refugee agency)
  • Priscilla Dudhia from Women for Refugee Women

Followed by a Q&A.

This will be a hybrid online & in-person event.

When registering, please specify whether you plan to attend in-person, or online (via Zoom) and we will email you with the relevant information.

Up to 30 people can safely attend in-person at the Priory Rooms, socially distanced.
