Quakers and Hinduism

at Bournville Quaker Meeting House, Bournville BirminghamOn Sunday May 5th after morning Meeting for Worship, Bournville Local Quaker Meeting is holding the next in its series of study sessions looking into the similarities and differences between Quakerism and other world faiths.
All are welcome to attend.
This time the topic will be Quakerism and Hinduism, and the presenter will be Eleanor Nesbitt, a member of Coventry Local Quaker Meeting. Eleanor is Professor Emeritus of the Centre for Education Studies at the University of Warwick, and an internationally respected authority on Hinduism and Sikhism. The session will run from 12 noon to 1pm, and will be followed by a shared lunch. Soup, bread, cheese and fruit will be provided by Bournville overseers, but please bring along any food for sharing that you may wish to offer.
