06/11/2020 - 17/11/2020, All DayOnline
National Interfaith Week takes place in November every year. Its aims are to:
- Strengthen good interfaith relations at all levels;
- Increase awareness of the different and distinct faith communities in the UK, in particular celebrating and building on the contribution which their members make to their neighbourhoods and to wider society;
- Increase understanding between people of religious and non-religious beliefs.
There are over 20 events happening in Birmingham this year (almost all online). Quakers are particularly involved in Towards a Better Understanding of Judaism and Quakerism in Birmingham on Sunday 8th, and Tread Lightly on this Earth on Sunday 15th; but do have a look at the full programme as it’s a good opportunity to connect with different faiths.
If you are aware of similar programmes for other parts of Central England, please email firstname.lastname@example.org . You can search for events across the UK on the National Interfaith Network website.
