06/11/2021, 3:00 pmat The Priory Rooms, Birmingham
All are welcome to join this interfaith blessing and open mic sharing of our faith perspectives on climate justice, hosted by CEQ Climate Emergency Action, and organised together with Footsteps (Faiths for a Low Carbon Future).
As the COP26 climate talks begin in Glasgow, faith communities and individuals in Birmingham are invited to join us on 6th November to witness for climate justice.
Those who are joining the faith block at the Birmingham March for the Climate earlier in the day, are welcome to walk up to the Priory Rooms together. (Don’t worry if the march and rally finish a bit earlier than 3pm, we will still be able to go indoors and get a hot drink!)
If joining a march is not your thing, you can meet us directly at the Priory Rooms. Either way, please register to allow us to ensure social distancing in the venue, and plan for refreshments.
(No need to register for the march, simply turn up.)
Please note that the open-mic is for sharing our faith responses to the issue of climate justice, and not a general invitation to promote events or campaigns. Thank you for respecting this.
If there’s an environmental event or campaign that you think Quakers and other people of faith might be interested in, let our friends at Footsteps know via email: email@example.com or social media: @FootstepsBCF and they will try to share it in other ways.
