Quakers in Central England are invited to join the Faith Block on the Birmingham March for the Climate.  As the COP26 climate talks begin in Glasgow, people will be standing up for climate justice around the UK.  The COP26 Coalition hope that 250,000 people will march across every major city.

Faith communities and individuals in Birmingham are invited to join Footsteps (Faiths for a Low Carbon Future) on 6th November to witness for climate justice.

If you are passionate about this issue, but going on a march feels a bit daunting, look out for the Footsteps and Quaker banners at Millennium Point, where you can meet some friendly faces, who share a faith commitment to climate justice. No need to register for the march (simply turn up) but feel free to drop Footsteps an email hello@footstepsbcf.org.uk if you’d like them to look out for you.

After the march and rally, join CEQ Climate Emergency Action who are hosting an interfaith blessing and open-mic sharing session at the Priory Rooms.  Find out more and register for the session at Priory Rooms (you *do* need to register for this session).

Other events are being planned on the same day in Coventry and Leamington Spa, we will share details of these when available.
