08/10/2017, 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
at Kings Heath Quaker Meeting House, BirminghamJoin Kings Heath Quakers for a showing of Demain: a 2015 French documentary film directed by Cyril Dion and Mélanie Laurent.
Faced with a future that scientists say is a great cause for concern, the film has the distinction of not giving in to catastrophism. Optimistically, it identifies initiatives that have proven themselves in ten countries around the world: concrete examples of solutions to environmental and social challenges of the twenty-first century, be it agriculture, energy, economy, education and governance.
All welcome: come for curiosity or just to find out more.
You are welcome to join Kings Heath Quakers for their meeting for worship earlier that morning (10:45 – 11:45am) followed by a shared lunch, before the film begins.
