Peacemakers is turning 30!
West Midlands Quaker Peace Education Project (Peacemakers) has been helping schools in the West Midlands to develop social and emotional learning since 1987. To celebrate the contribution Peacemakers has made to supporting schools to become more peaceful places, we are hosting a ‘Children’s Peace Summit’ during the day and throwing a birthday party in the afternoon. Please join us for the birthday party to help celebrate the past 30 years and to look ahead to what is next for Peacemakers. The 21st of September is also International Peace Day.
We’d love it if people connected to Peacemakers (past and present) could join us over a cup of tea and some cake. There will be some presentations and possibly a surprise VIP in attendance! You will also be invited to look at the pledges the children will have made to the people of the West Midlands to help make their world a more peaceful place.
The event is free, but please help us plan for numbers by registering:
