Open Gardens at Selly Oak

07/10/2018, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

at Selly Oak Quaker Meeting House, Selly Oak, Birmingham

As part of Quaker Week, Selly Oak Quakers invite you to an open day at our meeting house.

This will be a family-friendly event for the local community and will be a valuable opportunity to share our meeting house and gardens with those who may not have visited us, or any Quaker meeting house before.

The Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust will be running a workshop to make bird boxes (for the meeting house grounds and for the public to purchase) and free bug hotels. There will be two people there from the wildlife trust from 12 until 4pm.

We’re inviting the community to join us for afternoon Meeting for Worship at 2.30.

We will be serving free afternoon tea after Meeting (sandwiches, cakes, scones, tea and coffee). Afternoon tea will be served from 3.30 to 5.00.
