Resource: ‘Our Common Home’ Lent Guide

Update: new easy-to-read version now available.  Apologies if you had difficulty printing out the previous version.

‘Our common home: Caring for God’s creation study guide’ is a Lent Course, written for churches to study in ecumenical groups during Lent 2018.  Friends may find this resource helpful if your meeting is interested in ecumenical events, and the reflections are relevant to our Quaker concern for sustainability at any time of year.

(The version that can be printed as a booklet is still available. If you choose this version, you will need to print it out back-to-back, selecting ‘flip along short edge’ in the print options.)

The study guide was composed by a local ecumenical group of Christians.  They state:

You are welcome to use it in whatever way you like – but we would welcome feedback on how you find it. There is no charge but we suggest you might make a donation to a green charity of your choice.

Because it was written specifically for Kings Heath churches, there are a number of local references in the action points, but it wouldn’t be difficult to suggest similar ones for any locality.

With hopes and prayers for a greener planet!”
