An interesting and informative course by a Solihull Quaker

In October, a group of Friends and Attenders took part in a course hosted at Hall Green Quaker Meeting.

Spiritual principles: daily practices provided an explanation and exploration of the Twelve Step Programme of Alcoholics Anonymous. Drawing on the spiritual principles contained within the programme’s framework, through discussion and reflection, Friends discovered how the practical application of these principles might enhance their own daily practice and spiritual growth.

There was a great deal of lively discussion and interaction as well as background information on the little-known Fellowship of AA.

Encouraging feedback indicated that Friends had found the content, delivery and usefulness of the course generally ‘excellent‘, the process ‘moving‘ and the course, ‘very informative, comparing and contrasting Quakers and the 12 Step programme.’

This course continues to be available, free, to all Central England Quaker Meetings. All that is required is a space in your Meeting House and in your calendar.
